Christian Calendar Names of God

How the Names of God Calendar Was Born

When a lyric becomes a life theme

"Jireh, You are enough."

That lyric became the quiet anthem of my year. Not because everything was easy or fell neatly into place, but because it didn’t. This year hit me harder than I expected.

We moved from a small town to a city, and I thought I’d adapt quickly. After all, new places bring new opportunities, right? But instead, I found myself struggling. The noise, the pace, the unfamiliar faces—it all felt overwhelming. There were days I felt painfully isolated. Days I questioned if I was failing in every role I had to play. And there were moments I felt small and unseen.

But in the middle of all that, God reminded me: He is enough.

Enough when the house feels too quiet. Enough when the to-do list never shrinks. Enough when self-doubt whispers louder than faith. And that’s when the name Jireh—“The Lord will provide”—took root in my heart.

It became more than a song I loved. It became a theme. A daily whisper of reassurance.

One afternoon, while working on a simple t-shirt design that featured the word Jireh, I felt a spark. What if I could carry this reminder with me not just on a shirt, but through every month of the year? What if I could live surrounded by the many names of God—the ones that speak truth into our tired, ordinary days?

That was the start of an idea that made my heart beat faster.

I opened my notebook, scribbled down a few names—Jehovah Rapha (The Lord who heals), El Shaddai (God Almighty), Emmanuel (God with us)—and suddenly I knew: this needed to be bigger than a t-shirt.

It needed to be a calendar.

A calendar that doesn’t just track time, but marks the days with reminders of who God is. A calendar that encourages you, month after month, to anchor your life in His character, not your circumstances.

And so, the Names of God Calendar was born.

Now, two years later, I’m still amazed at how this little idea has grown. We’ve had the joy of creating and sharing it locally, and the response has been such a blessing. And here’s the exciting part: we can’t wait to finally make it available to our international friends too!

If you’d like to be the first to know when the 2026 calendar will be ready for you, I’d love for you to sign up for my newsletter. That way, the moment pre-orders open worldwide, you’ll get a gentle nudge straight to your inbox.

Because calendars mark time. But the Names of God? They mark eternity.
